What to Expect from hOMEOPATHY

Discovery Call (Optional, Free, 15 minutes)

Before committing to a full consultation, you're welcome to book a brief discovery call. This gives us a chance to speak, for you to ask any questions, and to see if homeopathy feels like the right approach for you. 

Your First Appointment

Initial Consultation (90-120 minutes)

Your first consultation is where we really get to know each other. This is an in-depth, unhurried conversation covering:


  • Your Current Concerns
    What's brought you here? What are you experiencing? How long has this been going on? What makes it better or worse?
  • Your Complete Health Picture
    Your energy levels, sleep patterns, digestion, temperature preferences, food likes and dislikes, and any other physical concerns.
  • Your Emotional Landscape
    How you're feeling emotionally, what stresses you, what brings you joy, your general outlook and temperament.
  • Your Life Context
    Significant life events, family history, previous health concerns, and anything else that helps me understand your story.


For children, I speak with parents and, where appropriate, engage gently with the child themselves. I want to understand their personality, behaviours, preferences, and how they experience their world. Being a qualified, experienced primary teacher as well as a mother to two of my own children, helps me to engage with both children and parents.

After Your Consultation

Following our detailed conversation, I'll spend time analysing your case and selecting the most appropriate homeopathic remedy for you. You'll receive:


  • Your prescribed remedy with clear instructions
  • Guidance on what to observe
  • When to expect contact from me
  • How to reach me if you have questions


I typically follow up within 4-6 weeks to check how you're responding.

Ongoing Support

Follow-Up Appointments (30-45 minutes)

Healing is a process, and follow-up consultations focus on:


  • What's changed since your last remedy
  • What's improved, what remains, what's new
  • How you're feeling overall
  • Whether adjustments to your remedy are needed


The frequency of follow-ups varies depending on your individual situation. Acute concerns might require more frequent contact initially, whilst chronic, longstanding issues often benefit from allowing time between appointments to observe your body's response.

Between Appointments

You're not on your own between consultations. If you have questions or concerns, or if something significant changes, please reach out. I'm here to support you throughout your journey.

Payment & Booking

Payment is taken via invoice prior to the session. I offer both in-person appointments at my Henley-on-Thames practice and online video consultations via Zoom for clients throughout the UK and beyond.

Most remedies are posted to you within 2-3 working days of your consultation. Some common remedies I keep in stock for immediate dispensing. Remedies are included in your consultation fee.
